10th Karma Thegchog Nyingpo

Karma Thegchog Nyingpo was born in the year 1908. He was unmistakably recognized by Karmapa Khakhyab Dorje as the incarnation of Je Chökyi Nyima. From Rigdzin Palchen Düpa he took refuge in the Three Jewels and received the novice vow including empowerment, oral transmission and so forth. From Situ Pema Wangchok Gyalpo he received full ordination as well as many teachings of sutras and tantras. According to the command of Drubwang Rinpoche, he took the responsibility for Palyul Monastery and upheld, preserve and disseminated the Buddha’s teachings of scripture and realization through study and practice. To benefit the Dharma and all sentient beings, he had printed many texts from the Golden dharma cycle of Ngagyur Kama including the Subtle Illusory Manifestations Cycle and Anu Yoga commentary, the Armor That Protects from Darkness and so on. After carrying out many other extensive accomplishments, at the age of 53, in the year 1960, his wisdom mind dissolved into the expanse of dharmadhatu.
